Rates
All rates are shown in Australian Dollars and are GST inclusive. All rates are subject to change at any time without notice.
Minimum Numbers
Cancellation + Refund Policy
All products require a minimum number of paying adult passengers to be confirmed. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum and our team will work to coordinate bookings to achieve the required minimum numbers for the flight to depart, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Our flights are weather-dependent. Pilots will make a weather check 1 hour before each scheduled departure. If we cannot fly due to adverse weather conditions, we will attempt to reschedule depending on the passenger’s schedule and flight availability. If we cannot reschedule, passengers will receive a 100% refund. If passengers choose to cancel a flight, fail to check in on time, or notify us of changes less than 24 hours prior to their departure, they will incur a 100% cancellation charge. Changes or cancellations made with more than 24 hours warning incur no penalties. Please note: if you’ve booked through a third-party booking agent their terms and conditions may differ and will also apply. Refunds will go back to the original form of payment in AUD and Brisbane Helicopters are not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations.
Adult, Child, Infant, and Family Special Pricing
Adult is 13+ years old.
Child is 2-12 years old. Certain experiences may have minimum age requirements. Please refer to individual product details for specific age restrictions.
Infant is 0-1 years old AND a weight of 15kg/33lb or less. Infants must travel on an adult’s lap. One infant per adult. Infants over 15kg/33lb must occupy their own seat and will be charged the Child price.
Flight Restrictions
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safety of the aircraft and everyone on board at all times. Service can be refused if the Pilots’ instructions are not complied with. In this instance, refunds would not be issued.
Brisbane Helicopters’ reserves the right to alter the flight paths or cancel flights due to weather and safety considerations.
Flight times and routes are subject to weather conditions.
Individual and total weight restrictions apply to specific aircraft and flights. We are required to make sure that the aircraft is operated within its maximum weight limitations and the aircraft’s centre of gravity is within limits. We, therefore, request passenger weights at the time of booking, to assist us operationally in planning and managing seat availability and to provide a great customer experience. Please ensure you contact us directly before making a booking if any passengers are 125kg (275lb) or over. Should your actual weight at the time of check in be more than 10kg (22lb) over your declared weight it may result in the aircrafts weight and balance limitations being exceeded. In this instance your booking may need to be rescheduled, subject to availability.
The Pilot in Command will determine the seating of passengers based on the weight and balance restrictions of that specific aircraft.
Brisbane Helicopters are not responsible for any missed connections or activities if flights are delayed or cancelled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Dangerous Goods
When flying with Brisbane Helicopters, there are restrictions in place when it comes to carrying certain items considered dangerous goods. We need to ensure we keep everyone safe and certain dangerous goods can react badly to the conditions they are exposed to during a flight. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the dangerous goods list found here. You must not carry any of the restricted items in your baggage and any dangerous items will be taken off you before you board. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call on 07 3710 6222.
