About Brisbane Helicopters

Brisbane Helicopters was founded with a clear vision: to deliver unforgettable helicopter experiences that combine adrenaline, luxury, and the natural beauty of South East Queensland. As proud locals, we believe there is no better region to explore by air – from the coastline and hinterland to the rainforest, islands, and the Brisbane and Gold Coast city skylines.

We don’t believe it’s only about the journey. By partnering with exceptional local operators, we create out-of-the-box experiences where the destination is just as extraordinary as the flight itself – seamlessly combining unforgettable helicopter flights with epic locations across the region.

Though newly established, the Brisbane Helicopters team is far from new to aviation. As the sister company to Utility Helicopters – one of Australia’s leading flight training organisations – we operate independently under the AOC of Utility Heli, from Archerfield Airport, just 25 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. We are built on a foundation of decades of proven experience and industry expertise. This relationship ensures Brisbane Helicopters operates with the highest levels of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence, while maintaining its own distinct identity and experience-driven focus.

Leadership & Safety

Head of Operations, Nik, brings decades of aviation experience across Part 133, 138 and 141 operations, including fire bombing, aerial lifting, and advanced flight training. As Director and Head of Operations at Utility Helicopters, he plays a critical role in ensuring Brisbane Helicopters operates to the highest standards of safety, precision, and professionalism.

Managing Director Jess combines her passion for aviation with a background in law, marketing, and business strategy. As a Commercial Pilot, Operations Manager as well as Flight & Training Co-Ordinator and CASA Safety Manager across Part 133 & 138, she leads with a clear vision: to build a premium, safety-first operation focused on delivering exceptional, experience-driven flights across South East Queensland.
